Diaries of a Spaceport Janitor is a game about cleaning up trash... but is there more to it?
This is a very interesting game.
You start outside cleaning up trash. The city is bustling, your little guy is hopping around and you are doing your duties as a janitor cleaning up trash. I thought this was just a quirky little simulator-like game.
The dungeon area was quite a surprise, as the atmosphere changed completely, and I was thrown into a spooky dungeon with unsettling ambience.
When I opened the door to the final room in the dungeon, I was creeped out when I noticed all the large people standing there following me as I walked. The skull scared me a bit, as it jumped out at me.
The dungeon was a very atmospheric and sudden twist that I really enjoyed.
After the dungeon however, the game became a bit tedious.
The spaceport is massive, and I found myself getting lost and walking in circles many times. The skull following and screaming at me occasionally was getting annoying, but it was for the plot (that I never got to.)
I was very lost on what I was supposed to do, since there was no indication of where I was needing to go. I liked the journal feature at the end of the each day, it somewhat immerses you into the role and goes with the title of the game well.
Overall, this is an interesting game with fun music and pretty visuals. As this is in very early access, I expect there will be more content, and hopefully more explanation as to what is going on and what to do, when the game is fully released on Steam.
I enjoyed playing this game and I recommend it to anyone looking for a unique experience.
